We're doing something we've never done before, we're designing an official FEDSA t-shirt for 2026!
But instead of hiring a designer or picking something off a template, we’ve decided work with the community. That’s YOU!
Competition details
We're running a design competition. The theme is "Celebrating South African Product Design & Development" and you can interpret that however you like. The spirit of building. The diversity of our community. The late-night deploys. The "it works on my machine" moments. Whatever SA product & development means to you.
The winning design gets printed on the official FEDSA team shirts, the ones we'll be wearing to DevConf (14–16 May) in front of 1,000+ developers. The designer gets their very own shirt too, and full credit across our online channels!
No cash prize, but a R500 Takealot voucher will be awarded. Along with the glory of knowing your design is the one walking around the conference.
The specs
What: Front of shirt only (we handle the FEDSA logo on back + sponsor logos on sleeves)
Format: High-res PNG or vector (SVG/AI/EPS), 300 DPI minimum
Colours: CMYK, max 6 colours (DTF printing)
Print area: Approx. 30cm × 40cm
AI designs: Banned. Human-made only. We mean it!
