Zaakir Deminck's concept is exactly what it says on the shirt: "My design celebrates community, connection and kindness amongst developers in South Africa — all coming together under the FEDSA umbrella." A lovely deploy of the brief, and an even better one of a t-shirt.

RUNNER UP: Let Us Cook
In Dominica Wannenberg’s words: "South Africans love braai'ing — it's what we're known for. Besides rugby. And Table Mountain. Anyway. I had an idea to play on the phrase 'let me cook' and braai'ing — a cheeky function that encapsulates the South African gees: we gather, we create ideas, we get shit done."
A function we'd happily call in production.
The winning design heads to print with our friends at Merch Kitchen, and the FEDSA team will be wearing it on the floor at DevConf Cape Town (14–16 May). Zaakir Deminck gets one too!
